On the road to Hermanus

Here are some highlights from today's drive along the coast to Hermanus. Along with stunning ocean views, we enjoyed a menagerie of animals in Betty's Bay and a drive-by tour of Stellenbosch's historical buildings. More details tomorrow once we've had a sound night's sleep.

We need our rest.  Tomorrow we'll spend the day relocating from South Africa's southwest coast to its northeast coast.  Before the day is done we'll have covered more than 2,950kms. Our journey includes a 90-minute drive back to Cape Town airport, a two-hour flight to Durban, followed by a three-hour road transfer to Phinda Private Game Reserve.
