Monday is a public holiday in the UK. Garry and I are taking advantage of the three-day weekend and are heading off to Helsinki. The weather is expected to be unseasonally warm in Finland. Sunday's forecast is for sunny skies and a high of 20C. We're in for some long hours of daylight as the sun is now rising at 5.15am and setting at 9.30pm.
We've also heard that the Baltic Sea is largely ice-free. As a result, the high-speed ferries are running to Estonia once again. We may take a day trip to Tallinn, the capital, as it'll be only 80 minutes away. Why not add another country to our list? Watch for photos and anecdotes next week.
